1. Scope and acceptance
Level6Aviation offers official online aviation-language examinations, examiner-led simulations, Aviation English lessons, the Self-Practice Question Database, examiner training, free preparation material and related account services. L6 Aviation GmbH operates the website and commercial customer journey. Official examinations are conducted by L6 Aviation OÜ as the approved Language Testing Body under approval EE/LTAB/003.
These terms apply when you use the website, create an account, place an order, reserve an appointment or start a service. The product description, price and service-specific information presented before payment also form part of your agreement. If a separately signed business-to-business agreement covers a service, that agreement takes priority for the matters it addresses.
2. Eligibility and account information
You must have legal capacity to make the purchase or have the involvement of a parent, guardian or other authorised person where required. No universal minimum age is stated because eligibility depends on the service, licensing context and applicable law.
Registration, billing and candidate information must be complete and accurate. Keep account credentials and access links confidential, and tell us promptly if you believe an account has been compromised. You are responsible for activity through your account unless the activity results from a failure for which Level6Aviation is responsible.
3. Prices, payment and invoices
The checkout shows the applicable price and currency before an order is submitted. Current consumer checkout accepts credit-card payments processed by Stripe. Payment-card details are handled by the payment provider and are not stored directly by Level6Aviation.
Payment is complete only when the provider authorises it and the order is recorded as paid. You are responsible for correct billing details. An invoice or receipt is made available in accordance with the checkout and accounting process. Tax treatment is determined by the transaction and applicable law; a displayed total does not create a tax promise beyond the completed order record.
If a payment fails, is reversed or is disputed, we may pause delivery or account access while the payment status is resolved. This does not limit any mandatory right to challenge an unauthorised or incorrect charge.
4. Bookings and appointments
An appointment is confirmed only after payment and booking processing succeed and a confirmation is issued. Check the chosen service, date, start time and timezone carefully. Where local time is displayed, the confirmed appointment record and message remain authoritative.
Join through the supplied online-meeting link on time and follow any identity and technical instructions. The examiner waits for 10 minutes after the scheduled start. Arriving later without an identified technical problem is treated as non-attendance, and the appointment and payment are forfeited, subject to mandatory consumer rights.
5. Rescheduling, cancellation and refunds
Official examinations include one complimentary self-service reschedule when the change is completed at least three hours before the scheduled start. Examiner-led Practice Test changes or cancellations must be requested at least eight hours before the scheduled start. Further or late changes require support review and may not be available.
An Official Exam cancellation is eligible for a refund when requested by email at least 24 hours before the appointment. The refund is the amount paid less a fixed €30 processing charge. Practice Tests are not refundable. Late cancellations and no-shows are not refundable unless mandatory law or accepted exceptional circumstances require another outcome.
If Level6Aviation cancels and cannot offer a suitable replacement, the customer may choose an applicable refund. Approved refunds are sent to the original payment method; the date the funds appear depends on the payment provider and bank. Contact us promptly with evidence if serious exceptional circumstances prevented attendance.
6. Technical requirements and connection failures
Online services require a stable internet connection, a compatible browser and device, a working camera, microphone and audio output, and a quiet private setting. You must permit any required identity check, join on time and attempt to reconnect if the connection is interrupted.
A brief interruption does not automatically end the service. If an identified candidate-side or examiner/provider-side problem prevents the session from starting or continuing after a 10-minute reconnection period, the appointment is rescheduled without charge. We may ask for reasonable diagnostic information, but do not require access to unrelated private material.
7. Official examinations
Official Level 4 and Level 4–5–6 examinations require the candidate to cooperate with identity verification, follow examiner instructions and complete the approved assessment process. Examinations may be recorded, assessed by authorised personnel and reviewed where required for quality, integrity, appeals or regulatory oversight.
Buying an examination does not guarantee a pass or a particular ICAO proficiency level. A result may be withheld, corrected or invalidated if identity, integrity or procedural requirements are not satisfied. Administrative mistakes may be corrected, but a valid language assessment is not altered merely to provide a preferred outcome.
Candidates must check the requirements of their own licensing or competent authority before purchase. Approval EE/LTAB/003 and the applicable EASA framework do not amount to a promise that every authority worldwide will accept every certificate or delivery method.
8. Examination integrity and prohibited conduct
The assessment must reflect the candidate's own unaided ability. Prohibited conduct includes:
- help, prompts, notes or unauthorised materials from another person;
- hidden communication devices, real-time transcription, translation, answer-generation or other AI-assisted answers;
- impersonation or misleading identity, licence or experience details;
- recording, copying, publishing or attempting to obtain protected live examination content; and
- interference with the examination platform, recordings, assessment records or security controls.
Suspected misconduct may lead to a pause or termination, withholding or invalidation of a result, suspension of access and preservation of relevant evidence. Confirmed serious misconduct may be reported to an authorised school, competent aviation authority, licensing body or law enforcement where permitted or required. Internal detection methods and confidential examination material will not be disclosed.
9. Results, certificates, recognition and validity
Results and certificates are delivered through the stated service channel, usually electronically. Published processing times are estimates unless the checkout expressly states a guarantee. Delays may arise from integrity review, incomplete candidate information, authority requirements or technical events.
The awarded proficiency level, applicable regulation and receiving authority determine certificate validity and recognition. Candidates remain responsible for submitting the certificate and any authority form and for confirming licence-specific requirements.
10. Appeals and complaints
Internal appeal
A candidate may submit a written appeal within 10 working days of receiving the official result. The request must identify the disputed outcome, explain the grounds and include relevant supporting information. L6 Aviation may charge an internal appeal fee between €50 and €100, with the amount confirmed before the review proceeds.
The Head of the Language Testing Body and an independent Language Proficiency Linguistic Expert who did not take part in the original assessment review the recording and assessment material against the rating scale and approved procedure. The outcome is normally issued within 15 working days after a complete appeal is received. A revised outcome leads to a corrected result and certificate where appropriate; otherwise the candidate receives a written explanation.
Procedural escalation and other complaints
After the internal appeal, a candidate may make a separate, explicit written request for L6 Aviation to escalate a procedural concern to the Estonian Transport Administration. That review concerns procedure, impartiality, integrity, record handling or personal-data handling; it is not another language assessment and the authority does not replace the authorised assessors' proficiency decision. The authority may charge a fee, which is the candidate's responsibility.
Service or conduct complaints that do not challenge the proficiency rating may be sent directly to support. Appeal recordings, documentation and correspondence are retained according to the applicable examination-record requirements.
11. Practice tests, lessons and free resources
Examiner-led simulations, Aviation English lessons, free samples and other preparation material are educational services. They are not official examinations. Feedback and predicted levels are indicative and do not guarantee a future result, certificate or proficiency level.
Lesson hours are arranged with the assigned instructor and may be subject to the package's scheduling, expiry and cancellation rules. Learners are responsible for attending agreed sessions and completing any preparation reasonably required for the service.
12. Self-Practice Question Database
The Self-Practice Question Database is an independent training and familiarisation resource. It contains illustrative or similar practice questions intended to introduce relevant topics, task styles and assessment format. It is not the confidential operational examination-question database used internally by L6 Aviation OÜ and does not provide live or protected official questions. The operational database is confidential and is never made available to the public.
Similarity of topic or style does not mean a practice item is a disclosed examination question. Use does not guarantee a pass, result or ICAO level. Content may be corrected, replaced, reorganised or updated during the access period.
The current product provides 12 months of access from activation. The licence is personal, limited, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable and for the customer's own training. Intellectual property remains with the applicable L6 entity or licensor.
You must not:
- share credentials, resell, sublicense, publish or redistribute access;
- systematically copy, scrape, automate extraction, record or download database content without permission;
- create a competing database or reconstruct protected examination material;
- upload substantial content to public AI systems, shared repositories or third-party training platforms; or
- circumvent technical or access controls.
Access may be suspended or terminated for proportionate, evidenced misuse, without limiting mandatory consumer rights.
13. Digital content and withdrawal rights
Digital access may begin shortly after payment and account activation. Any statutory withdrawal right is affected only where all legal conditions for immediate supply have been satisfied, including any express consent and acknowledgement required by law. These terms do not declare every digital purchase automatically non-refundable and do not remove rights that the checkout has not validly addressed.
If digital content is defective, unavailable or materially different from the purchased description, contact support so the service can be restored, corrected, replaced or otherwise remedied as applicable.
14. ICAO language examiner training
Applicants must satisfy the stated eligibility route. Pilot and air traffic controller applicants need the relevant licence or qualification and professional experience; the academic route requires an applicable Philology or Linguistics degree. Admission remains subject to application review, course availability and payment of the confirmed fee.
Participants must attend, complete required learning and assessment, follow conduct rules and respect the confidentiality and intellectual property of training and examination materials. Misconduct may lead to removal from the course on a proportionate basis.
Completing training does not by itself guarantee appointment, employment, authority approval or permission to examine candidates. Any role requires the separate authorisation and operational approval applicable to that person and organisation. Course-specific change or cancellation terms communicated before payment also apply.
15. Intellectual property
Website content, branding, software, interfaces, recordings, videos, training documents, question databases, examination materials, certificates and templates are owned by or licensed to the applicable L6 entity. Ordinary personal use of the website and purchased service is permitted. Unauthorised reproduction, commercial exploitation, distribution or extraction of confidential material is not.
16. Service availability and changes
Reasonable efforts are made to keep services available. Maintenance, provider outages, internet failures and events outside reasonable control may cause disruption. Content and unconfirmed availability may change; confirmed purchases are handled under the booking, delivery and refund rules that apply to the order.
Material changes to these terms apply prospectively from the published effective date unless law requires another approach. Changes do not rewrite an already completed purchase to the customer's detriment.
17. Liability
Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability for fraud, intentional misconduct, or any injury, loss or obligation that cannot lawfully be excluded. Mandatory consumer protections remain intact.
Subject to those protections, neither party is responsible for an indirect or unforeseeable loss that was not caused by its breach. A candidate remains responsible for licence decisions, authority submissions and technical conditions within their control; L6 remains responsible for supplying the purchased service with reasonable care and skill.
18. Applicable law, courts and mandatory rights
The applicable law and competent forum depend on the contracting entity, the service and mandatory conflict-of-law and consumer rules. These terms do not make an exclusive choice that removes a consumer's mandatory protections or right to use a legally available forum. A separate written business agreement may contain its own governing-law and jurisdiction clause for that service.
19. Contact and company details
